ZODIACAL RELEASING

Zodiacal releasing is a Hellenistic timing technique that divides your life up into chapters of time, and it is particularly useful for looking at the topics of career and general life direction, relationships, and sometimes health or general circumstances. By learning the basic interpretive principles of this technique, you will know when more active and important periods of time in your life will take place, as well as when activities are more likely to go well and easily or to present more challenges.

Even more importantly, this method of timing shows the trajectory of where you’re headed in any given moment; it’s kind of like discovering a pin marked “you are here,” orienting you within a map of time and showing both where you’ve been and where you’re going next. During this introductory talk, we will discuss the basics of how this technique works and go over examples of what that looks like in actual biographies.

This lecture is beginner-level in terms of the timing technique itself, though it will assume some prior knowledge of astrology more generally.

ABOUT LEISA

Leisa Schaim is a consulting astrologer, speaker, and researcher based in Denver, Colorado. She co-hosts the Auspicious Elections Podcast, has had her astrological writing featured in WellBeing Magazine and the Mountain Astrologer and has spoken at previous ISAR, NCGR, NORWAC, and UAC astrology conferences. Leisa enjoys exploring people’s life stories using a blend of Hellenistic and modern astrological techniques. She is a past Presiding Officer of AFAN, was one of the organization coordinators for UAC 2018, and received the 2018 Jim Lewis award for community service.
